Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Binder is a product of Sublimearts.io.

1. What you get

Binder is a page-design tool that runs in your browser. The editor is free to use. Free exports carry a small watermark and are limited to the first 12 pages. You can remove those limits by buying export credits (one clean, complete export per credit) or Binder Pro (unlimited clean exports).

2. You own your work

Everything you create with Binder is yours — including exported PDFs, images and SVG files — and you may use it commercially (for example to publish and sell books on Amazon KDP or Etsy) with no royalty and no attribution required. The watermark on free exports is the only mark we add. The built-in clipart library and templates may be used freely inside your own books. Fonts you import yourself remain subject to their own licenses — that is your responsibility. Bundled preset fonts are open-licensed (SIL OFL / Apache 2.0).

3. Pro licenses and export credits

4. Your data stays with you

Your projects are stored in your own browser, on your device. We do not receive or store them. Back up important work with the Save project (.bloom) function — clearing your browser data deletes locally stored projects. See the Privacy page for details.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Binder to infringe other people's rights, to publish unlawful content, or to attempt to bypass the free-tier limits or the license system. We may disable a license that is used abusively or shared widely.

6. No warranty, limited liability

Binder is provided “as is”. We work hard to make exports print-accurate, but you are responsible for checking your files (for example against the Amazon KDP previewer) before you publish or print. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Binder is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

7. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. See our refund policy.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: hello@sublimearts.io.
